WASHINGTON, USA — Taylor Farms Illinois, Inc. is recalling approximately 51 pounds of cheese and bacon quiche products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced.

The Jarlsberg cheese and bacon quiche items contained eggs, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.  

The products subject to recall are numbered “EST. 21794” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
