Later this month a local non-profit is inviting you for a night of dance, music, drinks and performances to raise funds for a new arts program benefiting West Louisville children. John Shaw Woo is the founder of The West Louisville Ecohub Arts Community (TWLEAC), a group creating free art and education programs for disadvantaged children grades K-12 in the West end. TWLEAC is hosting the Ovation Performing Arts Bash on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 6 PM – 10 PM at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage located at 1701 W Muhammad Ali Blvd in Louisville, KY. John joined us with several youth dancers, along with Councilwoman Barbara Sexton Smith, who is receiving the Ovation Arts Award for her work in West Louisville and the arts community.
