Malcolm's Old Louisville

The St. James Court Art Show is being held October 5, 6 & 7, 2018 in Historic Old Louisville.

The annual St. James Court Art Show is right around the corner, and for its 62nd year, the event is celebrating its origins by honoring the show’s founder and Old Louisville icon, Malcolm Bird. Howard Rosenberg is here from the St. James art show, along with local artist Mark D. Bird, who is Malcolm’s nephew. Mark is re-releasing prints of his 1998 tribute to Malcolm, a piece titled “St James Court”, which depicts Malcolm Bird’s home that he owned in the 1950s while he was renovating and revitalizing other Old Louisville homes. On September 3, 2018 the Kentucky Historical Society will dedicate a Kentucky Historical Marker to Malcolm Bird. The St. James Court Art Show is being held October 5, 6 & 7, 2018 in Historic Old Louisville just south of Central Park on St. James Court, Belgravia Court, Magnolia Avenue, Third and Fourth Streets.
