This weekend the Louisville Bats will be sporting “throwback” jerseys and hats to honor the Louisville Colonels, who were in the major league from 1882 until 1891. The classic team uniforms worm by players this weekend will be auctioned off in early August to benefit the WHAS Crusade for Children. Greg Galiette stopped by the studio with details about the event and special giveaways for fans. “Throwback Weekend” is being held Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Slugger Field in Louisville, KY. On Friday night the doors open at 6 PM and the first 2,000 fans will receive a free Louisville Colonels hat. You can get tickets at https://www.milb.com/louisville.
