Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana has been teaching life skills and helping girls become confident for more than 100 years. We’re joined by Jackie Ford from the Girls Scouts of Kentuckiana, along with Maddie O’Dea, who recently achieved the organization’s highest distinction, the Girl Scouts Gold Award. WHAS 11’s Whitney Harding first met Maddie in her role as a track start at Christian Academy, and discovered that not only was she a highly accomplished Girl Scout, but that she also created her own coloring book for kids called “Healthy Feelings”, which has now been distributed to over 200,000 children in the United States and internationally. If you would like a copy of Maddie’s book, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
