Some of the WHAS11 staff is going the extra mile when it comes to helping out their furry friends at the Kentucky Humane Society. The 24th annual Waggin’ Trail Festival for the Animals is June 10, 2018 at the Louisville Water Tower and a group of WHAS11 employees has started a fundraising team to help raise donations for the local non-profit. WHAS11 staffer Drew Johnson captains “Team Biscuits-Marie” along with Kim Williams, who brought their fundraising campaign star, miss Biscuits-Marie herself. They’re joined by Alisa Gray from KHS, who brought an adoptable three-year-old dog, Jethro. Alisa provides details on the Waggin’ Trail festival and explains how donations help provide rehabilitation for an abused or neglected animal. WHAS Team Biscuits-Marie is currently in third place in the fundraising campaign, already reaching 75% of their goal of $1000. To help them reach their goal, click here to donate.
