This weekend visitors to the historic Locust Grove will be transported back to the eighteenth century at the annual Jane Austen Festival. In its 10th year, it’s no surprise that the festival has become the largest Jane Austen event in North America, celebrating the British author’s work with everything from guest speakers to workshops, fashion displays, a regency show, four-course afternoon tea, bare knuckle boxing, shopping, and much more. We’re joined by festival chair member Bonny Wise with an actual descendent of Jane Austen’s family, Patrick Stokes, along with other event presenters Ann Buermann Wass, Jeremy Strong and Zack Pinsent. The 10th Annual Jane Austen Festival is being held Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15, 2018. You can learn more at http://jasnalouisville.com/
