Crusade golf benefit is up to par

The Fifth Annual Ted Throckmorton Crusade Golf Tournament is being held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Elk Run Golf Club in Jeffersonville, IN, with proceeds benefiting the WHAS Crusade for Children.

Terry Meiners skipped worked for a few rounds at Southern Indiana’s oldest golf course, and tells us about an upcoming benefit that honors the legacy of long-time WHAS Crusade for Children volunteer Ted Throckmorton. The Fifth Annual Ted Throckmorton Crusade Golf Tournament is being held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Elk Run Golf Club in Jeffersonville, IN, with proceeds benefiting the WHAS Crusade for Children. Ted volunteered for the annual telethon for 62 years, and his legacy lives on at the annual golf scramble. Tickets are $100 per player and include greens fees, cart, on-course refreshments and a fried chicken dinner.
