It’s been five years since the University of Louisville men’s basketball team defeated the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Tournament Championship, and this summer members of the team are returning to Louisville for the first time. Former University of Louisville basketball player Luke Hancock joins us along with Roger McClendon from the Louisville Sports Commission with details on “Rise Above”, which will serve as both a celebration of the 2013 team’s achievements and a benefit for the Aspire Basketball Foundation, a local youth sports and leadership program. The "Rise Above" five-year reunion is June 29, 2018 at Fourth Street Live from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Tickets range from $20 - $60 and children 12 and younger will receive free admittance.
