LOUISVILLE, Ky. — What has a lot of teeth and is extinct? Dinosaurs. What has wings and can sometimes breathe fire? Dragons. How many people wish they could see lifelike representations of both?
Dino & Dragon Stroll will allow guests to do just that.
Replicas that stand over 28 feet tall and more than 60 feet long are scheduled to appear at the Kentucky Exposition Center on June 18-19.
According to a press release, guests should expect the dinosaurs and dragons to roar and move their bodies including their face, neck, tail and wings.
People can get an up-close, 360-degree look at these creatures “just as you imagined them.”
Storytime and crafts are available for children along with activity tickets for bounce houses, rides and scooters. A live band and roaming baby dinosaurs will also be lurking around the Expo Center.
There will be a "Sensory Friendly Session" at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday where sound and light adjustments will be less stimulating and overwhelming
Dino & Dragon Stroll partners with local food banks or pantries as part of their “Stomp Out Hunger” initiative to give back to the community.
Anyone visiting is encouraged to bring items for their collection bins, which will be donated to local organizations.
Tickets are available online starting at $24.99 each, but children under two years old, military personnel and veterans can enter the exhibition for free.
