LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you’re one of those music lovers that when you’re driving you hear your favorite song and you turn the volume up as high as it goes?  If I’m talking to you I’m sure you have Louder Than Life on your to do list.

What is that you ask? It’s the World’s Largest Rock n’ Roll Whiskey Festival.  It’s the final leg of the “Trifesta” which kicked off with the Hometown Rising, then last week Bourbon & Beyond and now this weekend Louder Than Life.

The three day festival kicks off Friday, September 27th and runs through Sunday, September 29th at Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center.

The artists involved in the three-day festival have loyal fan bases with huge music catalogs and many are considered legends in the industry.  Artist like: Guns N’ Roses, SlipKnot, Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots and Breaking Benjamins.  I’ve also learned that Ice Cube will perform.   There will be more than 50 music acts on three stages.

There will be on-site locker rentals with unlimited cell phone charging.  The reason why I bring this up because once you enter the venue for the day you are not allowed to leave and come back so plan accordingly.  There will also be water refill station provided to keep you hydrated.  You are allowed to be bring only the following:  cell phones, sunscreen (non-aerosol), binoculars, small, point and shoot digital cameras, hats, sunglasses, earplugs, light blankets and towels.

This festival’s general admission tickets are selling out.  There’s only a few at $79.50.  For availability and an artist lineup go to louderthanlifefestival.com
