Northeast Christian Church wants to 'Blitz the Breakrooms'; they are collecting items for law enforcement that they can 'grab and go'.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Every Friday, we give you a rundown of local entertainment news and events to make sure you know everything happening around the area.

But this week, we're doing something a little different; instead, focusing on all of the unique ways you can help support the victims and families impacted by Monday's shooting.

Northeast Christian Church wants to 'Blitz the Breakrooms'; they are collecting items for law enforcement that they can 'grab and go' like Gatorade, energy drinks, energy and protein bars to individual items like Slim Jims and trail mix.

This is happening Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and you can visit either their Brownsboro or Clifton campus.

On Saturday at Clean Eatz they are donating a portion of their sales to support Wilt and his family according to a Facebook post.

At Lynn Family Stadium on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., the Kentucky Blood Center will host a blood drive in conjunction with Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC.

Appointments are encouraged but walk-ups will be accepted.  As a thank you, each person who gives blood will receive a complimentary ticket to Saturday night's game.
