LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville born and bred festival was recently named the best festival of the year.
Bourbon and Beyond, the world's largest music, bourbon and food festival, was awarded the title "Best Festival of 2024" by the IEBA Conference, a leading live entertainment organization.
In a social media post, organizers for Bourbon and Beyond thanked the city of Louisville, the fans and its dedicated crew.
"We also want to give a big thanks to the City of Louisville for being the best festival home we could ask for! And, of course, a massive THANK YOU to our fans—you are the heart and soul of this festival," the post said. "Can’t wait to see you in 2025!"
The four-day festival drew in more than 200,000 people this year, a 75% increase over 2023. Bourbon and Beyond is the largest music festival in Kentucky's history.
Many in attendance came for major performances including headliner Zach Bryan and Young the Giant.
Other artists that drew in large crowds were the Dave Matthews Band, Sting and Kentucky’s own, Tyler Childers.
The organizers have not yet announced anything about Bourbon and Beyond 2025.
