LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Jim's day starts well before the break of dawn, but he likes it that way.
Jim has worked on morning shows since 2018 and is excited to join the Good Morning Kentuckiana family as a reporter/anchor.
He grew up in Northern Kentucky just across the river from Cincinnati where he developed a passion for broadcasting.
Jim joins WHAS11 after a three-year stay in Lexington, working as a morning reporter and anchor for WKYT.
He spent two years in Evansville, Indiana covering southwestern Indiana and western Kentucky from 2018-2020. He joined the WFIE morning crew about six months into his stay and never looked back.
Jim started his career in eastern Kentucky at WYMT as a sports reporter.
Jim majored in radio and television operations at Western Kentucky University before stepping in front of the camera.
Jim is a father to his son Ryder and a fur father to three dogs.
When he's not working, Jim loves spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching his Cincinnati sports teams.
