Brownie is my daughter's brindle pit. Of all dogs she picked this one when she was just 3yrs old. She is 14 now(my daughter) these two grew up together. We left brownie out in the yard one day because it was beautiful out and while we were gone (only an hour) the neighbor came right in the yard took her off her leash and shot her in the face. When we found her we rushed her to the vet and four hours of surgery & 24 pieces of steel removed from her body, Doc saved her. She did lose one eye. She does not seem to mind and she is the best hearted dog ever. We love her.
