Since 1993 our house has always been up for the holiday cheer. Each year we look forward to bring a smile to our neighbors, friends, and so called "light-seers" faces. Throughout our front and back yard, we have around 23,500 lights! As my son grew older and was able to help more we got more ambitious. First starting out with just lights, and then adding two homemade 7ft wooden toy soldiers. Since that first we now have playful snowmen, and two more shorter 4ft 3-dimensional soldiers by our front door. Our newest addition is a "portrait" of my family depicted as penguins. As I take off thanksgiving week, I use those five days to put up the bulk of the outside lights. Next year we plan to add a homemade ginger bread family. Happy Holidays to all.
