My name is Lynn Poe. I am the public relations chairperson for the North Hardin High School Band. Tis weekend was the Bands of America Grand Nationals Competition in Indianapolis, In. at Lucas Oil Field. Only 3 Bands from Kentucky were invited to come and compete. They were, North Hardin, Lafayette, High School, and Meade county. There were over 500 bands there from all across the U.S. and only 12 bands got to advance to the finals after 3 days of competition. None of the 3 from Ky. made it to the finals, however 2 of the band placed 2nd in their respective classes. North Hardin and Lafayette. I'd like to send out a BIG congratulations to ALL those kids for their hard work. They were Amazing. Also Congratulations to our Award winning Band Director, Mr. Brian Froedge. Also Thank you to all of our fantastic Band parents without whom none of this would be possible. Thanks to you for all of your support.
