CheapEasy way be part of cancerawareness

My husband knows how much I love the color pink. So when we were at Walmart he bought me a Pink GE Energy saving light. I ended up putting it on my front porch. I came home last night to see another house had one too. That got me thinking....What a cheap, easy, and beautiful way to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness. I started by posting it on Facebook and came up with a photo and the name "Light The Way" I think in this economy this is one of the best ways we can help. I printed out the little flyer and bought enough lights for my whole street. I handed each one to my neighbors and asked them to display them on their front porch and to spread the message by giving the print out to a friend, family, or co-worker to help spread the message more. My goal is to make this an annual event. Lets make the world a brighter place and give hope to those who are going through the fight against cancer.
