It really was a Tornado!

As i walked outside with my parents and sister, 8:00pm june 22nd, to see my first ever funnel cloud! ..Very excited to see one eversince i was little i finally seen one just today! Little did i know it was going to be a complete cycle of a tornado that damaged the historical mark of Churchill Downs. with the erie quietness of the "eye" there is no wind, rain, thunder, or lighting.. just motion. As I look to my left on my front lawn, down the street west bound, i see the skinny tail of the funnel clound. eveyone was "wowing" standin outside there houses around us. but soon heading in frantic. the tornado touched down at the end of my block about 15 houses down on belleview ave. and dresden ave. throwing debri everywhere. we soon head inside. me and my father stay upstairs to view out our bay window of our house. as we watch this beast of mother nature spin right passed us from left to right 500 yds. away. north bound. as the tornado passes it carries debri such as shingles, wood, framing, trees and branches. all debri circling the small twister. very skinny vortex and very wirery. directly straight on from our home to longfield horse stables,, it picks up a great amount of debri from the roof from the stables. once it passes to the right of my house i go back outside on my front side walk. it continues across 4th st. headed toward the starbucks and kroger off central. i can hear the thing tearing through structures and trees. it sounded like a train dragging empty dumpsters at about 60 mph. transformers were blowing like crazy along with flashes of light. it soon slows and dispurses back into a funnel which i have the footage of.
