A warm front will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to the area early tomorrow, then a cold front will follow up with possibly strong to severe storms late Tuesday.  The Storm Prediction Center has placed the southern half of our area under a Slight Risk of severe storms - damaging winds and hail the main threats.

The limiting factors for severe weather will be all the storms happening to our south which could sap our energy.  Plus, much of the lift could slide just north closer to the low-pressure storm center.  There is a chance much of our area could be in the somewhat calmer middle ground, with big storms south, and heavier rain north.

With that said, anything can happen in the Ohio Valley and we need to be ready for at least a chance of severe storms, especially late day tomorrow.

The system will bring heavy rain, 1-3" over a large region through early Wednesday morning.

Thankfully, the storm leaves in time for good travel weather Wednesday, wonderful Thanksgiving Day weather, and awesome shopping weather Friday.  60s and sunshine Thursday and Friday!

Ok, so yes, I mentioned snow next Tuesday.   The last several runs of the long range GFS model have been calling for an upper-low to get cut-off over the area early next week.  This low appears cold enough to support snowfall around the area.  It's way too early to tell if this will actually happen, or how much snow could fall.  But, this is the first "higher" chance of snow the models have put out so far this season.  Stay tuned!  That crazy upper-low is below!
