Here's the Storm Prediction Center's outlook for severe weather Wednesday. Notice Kentucky is in a Moderate Risk for severe weather. This simply means a higher chance of seeing scattered thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, and even tornadoes.
Heavy rain and flooding will spread over the area again overnight through Wednesday morning with embedded severe storms possible. Then, severe storms will likley fire back up through the afternoon and evening. 2-5" of additional rainfall possible, which will lead to more flooding across Kentuckiana.
