SELLERSBURG, Ind. (AP) -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency says tornado and storm victims have only Friday, April 13, left to meet with specialists at its southern Indiana disaster recovery center.
FEMA says the center on the Ivy Tech College campus in Sellersburg will remain open until 6 p.m. Friday.
FEMA says more than 660 Hoosiers have visited the center where specialists answer questions about recovery programs and U.S. Small Business Administration representatives help people complete low-interest disaster loan applications.
The center opened last month following the March 2 tornadoes that caused widespread damage and killed 13 people in southern Indiana.
May 8 is the last day to register for discovery recovery assistance. Registration also is available online, click here to be redirected to the FEMA website, or by calling (800) 621-FEMA (3362).
