(WHAS11) -- A report shows nearly two-thirds of the southern Indiana residents killed in the March tornadoes were in mobile homes at the time.

The victims include a family of five in Pekin, two men in the Ripley County town of Holton and a Scott County man.

The National Weather Service and the American Meteorological Society agree mobile homes are more vulnerable in tornadoes than conventional homes.
