MARYSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The stories surrounding Henryville's path to recovery from the March 2 tornadoes has been well-documented, from the loss of two schools, Mother Stephanie Decker, whose legs were amputated after she shielded her children from the storm, and country super group Lady Antebellum playing Henryville High's prom.
That attention is making some in Marysville disappointed in the lack of progress in towns like theirs and Pekin, which also has extensive damage.
In Marysville, there are empty lots and boarded up homes, and some say few are rebuilding in the already tiny Clark County town.
People say volunteers rarely show up and the ones they depend on are people they know.
WHAS11’s Bryan Baker has more on one family's story as they rebuild.
In the story that aired at 11 at 11, WHAS11 mentioned that the Clark County Commissioners didn't return calls for comment; However, one call was returned but not before news time.
