HENRYVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – One year ago tornado sirens were sounding across Kentuckiana and powerful storms were leveling entire towns. It was a violent system that we had been warned about for days.

March 2 fell on Friday in 2012, but on this Saturday many are planning to honor the one year anniversary of the terrible storm.

WHAS11's Karma Dickerson has more on the signs of recovery and hope in Southern Indiana.

Visit our Kentuckiana Tornado section for a look back at the devastation caused by the storms on March 2 that blew through Kentuckiana.
