HENRYVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) - The waiver that the Henryville school system had been hoping for has been granted: they will not need to make up the lost days due to the tornado's damages. The Indiana Department of Education waived the nearly two weeks of class that the students missed, which may have kept them in school until mid June. Their last day of class will be May 25.
WHAS11's Gene Kang has more information and the reactions of students and parents about the waived school days.
