LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Our Savior Lutheran Church and School in partnership with Easter Baskets for Henryville and First Baptist Church Henryville is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 7 for all Henryville area tornado victims and their families.
The Easter egg hunt is set to begin at 1 p.m. at Clark State Forestry.
There will be an opening ceremony followed by Easter egg hunts divided up by age. The first hunt for ages 4 and under will begin at 1:45 p.m., followed by a hunt at 2 p.m. for ages 5 through 8 and a hunt at 2:15 p.m. for ages 9-11.
There will also be crafts, games and other activities scheduled throughout the afternoon.
All activities are scheduled to end around 3 p.m.
Sunday School students from Our Savior Lutheran Church will fill eggs for the event, as well as help prepare other items.
