HENRYVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- More than 200 volunteers are in Henryville Monday to help rebuild homes destroyed by an E4 tornado that tore through the small town March 2.
The “building blitz” is set to get underway at the Twin Oaks subdivision – just one of the areas hit hard by the tornado.
Lowe's gave a $100,000 grant to New Albany-Floyd County Habitat for Humanity to support the construction project. The volunteers expect to finish 10 homes by the end of the week.
