Today

We'll hang on to the clouds tonight with temperatures slow to fall to the low 50s overnight. Don't expect much more than an isolated sprinkle. Clouds will be slow to break up early tomorrow morning.

Short-term

Clouds will break up Saturday to finally allow for some sunshine! A pleasant afternoon is expected with highs in the low 70s. Unfortunately, it's a short spurt of good weather, as another strong storm system arrives overnight Saturday through Sunday. We'll watch for the potential of a few strong storms Sunday. Highs Sunday around 65, with a 100% chance for rain. You may want to get Mom some good rain gear if you plan to head out!

Long-term

The active weather pattern will continue as we head to the next workweek. We'll have a couple of nice dry days Monday and Tuesday. Cool air coming in behind a cold front will keep Monday's highs only in the mid 60s, but a warmer day is in the works for Tuesday with highs at least in the mid 70s. A quick moving jetstream brings our next storm midweek, with a good chance for showers and thunderstorms next Wednesday and Thursday.
