HOUSTON - The seven-day forecast is looking beautiful with mostly sunny skies, no chance for rain, and cooler temperatures.
On Thursday and into the weekend, we will see just a few clouds with afternoon temperatures in the mid 80s. Overnight temps could get down into the 50s.
Hurricane Irma is now a Category 5 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean but is unlikely to affect us in Texas due to the cold front. Instead, KHOU 11 Chief Meteorologist David Paul predicts it will travel up the East Coast or toward Florida.
Hurricane Katia is a Category 1 hurricane that formed early Wednesday off the coast of Mexico, but is not expected to be a threat to the Texas Gulf Coast.
Hurricane Jose is a Category 1 hurricane that is still far out in the Atlantic. At this time, it's not expected to make landfall.
