About Future Forecasters
Invite a meteorologist to your classroom
The Future Forecasters program involves a WHAS11 StormTeam member visiting area schools and teaching students about weather through interactive demonstrations and inquiry-based investigations.
These visits run roughly one hour and are intended for a regular-sized classroom, however, will accommodate larger groups upon request. All science demonstrations and inquiry-based investigations are related to core content guidelines and academic expectations.

Neighborhood NOW
Neighborhood NOW is a regional network of weather reporting stations primarily located inside local area schools. Each reporting station records and transmits data on wind speed, wind direction, humidity, rainfall amounts, barometric pressure and other weather related information about that particular area.
