LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Three men are in federal custody accused of trafficking more than five kilograms of cocaine into the Louisville area. Officers arrested Anthony D. Smith, Charles Reed and Eric Dryden earlier this month after they raided a home on Ralph Avenue in Shively where Dryden allegedly lived.
Prior to the raid, a judge authorized a trace on Smith’s phone and an undercover agent sold one kilo of cocaine worth $38,000 to the agent outside of Mall St. Matthews in April. Agents later set up a second buy at an undisclosed location and arrested Smith and Reed and then searched the home in Shively where Dryden lived.
They seized more cocaine there along with cutting agents, three handguns and digital scales. All three men are in the custody awaiting their arraignment on May 30.
