Police continue search for suspect after veteran's murder 5 years later

SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – 5 years have passed since a veteran was brutally murdered inside his Shelbyville home and there have been no leads in the case.

James Duckett was found tied to a chair in a bathroom with his neck slit in 2008.

Police say someone also stole Duckett’s truck and used his debit card to withdraw cash from a bank in Shelbyville.

No arrests have been made in the case and police are looking for leads.
