LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Members of the Louisville Metro Council credit the new management group that now runs the KFC Yum! Center for making it profitable.

Metro Council President Jim King said that since AEG Management took over the Yum! Center in July, the facility has become increasingly profitable.

AEG projects that they will report a profit of $1.3 million for the fiscal year that ends in June.  AEG has also increased the number of event dates at the Yum! Center in 2013.
