LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Students from the Kentucky School for the Blind got a unique experience at Louisville Slugger Field.
Students got the chance to learn about the game of baseball first-hand. Most only have a verbal concept of the game.
Students ran the bases and got to hold baseballs, batting helmets, and bats used by the Louisville Bats players.
After the students were finished on the field, a group of visually impaired adults got the same experience.
