(WHAS11) -- A fourth person from Louisville has now been named by investigators in an alleged trans-state murder conspiracy. Rachel Palmer is named in a federal indictment alongside her boyfriend Samuel Yenawine, Aaron Wilkinson, and Wendy Moore, accused of plotting to kill a high profile South Carolina woman.
Court documents accuse Yenawine and Wilkinson of receiving up to $30,000 to travel from Kentucky to South Carolina to kill Nancy Latham, the South Carolina lottery treasurer.
Moore, who is from Kentucky but lives in South Carolina allegedly delivered payment and helped to plan the crime. The intended victim is her alleged lover's wife.
Nancy Latham is married to Chris Latham, a Bank of America executive, but the two are in the process of divorcing.
According to court documents, defendant Wendy Moore is Chris Latham’s secretary and was having an affair with him. Chris Latham has not been charged with the alleged plot to kill his wife; however, she has sued him, accusing the banker of initiating the plan.
Police say the alleged murder for hire plot was foiled when Wilkinson was pulled over, and arrested for possession of a handgun. He allegedly confessed the entire plot.
