(WHAS11 NEWS) -- An early morning accident in Old Louisville has left a 21-year old man dead.
The accident happened around 4 a.m at the intersection of Hill and Brook Streets.
Police say Michael Willinger, 21, was driving a Toyota Camry without a seatbelt when he cut across traffic and was struck in the driver’s side door by a Chevy Avalanche. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the Chevy was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say speed and alcohol could have been factors.
