(WHAS11) -- One family came face to face with the man accused of killing their loved one. In court Thursday Jeffersonville Police stood between the family of Paris Hamilton and his suspected killer Antonio Walker.

Before court even started,  tears overcame Erica Hamilton. “I love my brother. It's horrible what happened to him. I hope this guy just burns in hell. He'll get what he deserves,” said Erica Hamilton.

Antonio Walker, the man accused of killing her brother Paris Hamilton, is the last person she wanted to see, but Erica Hamilton believes Walker isn't the only one involved in the murder.

“I feel there’s a few people that are going to be charged with something and I heard that my brother was being called a snitch and that’s why he was shot. He's far from a snitch. He's a good person, he never snitched,” said Erica Hamilton.

Paris Hamilton was shot to death at the French Quarter apartments in Jeffersonville on Monday afternoon. Walker and Hamilton were acquaintances and police say they still don't know what their dispute was over before shots were fired.

“Ruthless murderer. Ruthless murderer. There was no need to take his life. He was unarmed. There was no need for this five bullets, there was no need,” said Stacey Sears, a relative of the victim’s.

Walker has admitted to police that he fired the shots. He did not get bond at his arraignment.
Hamilton's family says Walker showed no remorse.
