(WHAS11) - Surrounded by the artistry of the Peanuts - Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy and the gang – Sheryl Boyd, a Bellarmine University student, and 7-year-old Kadie Fahnbulleh are touring one unique exhibit at the Louisville Slugger Museum.

Sheryl asked Kadie, “You want to go write a letter to Santa? Sheryl and Kadie write the letter to Santa, and away it goes to the North Pole.

Sheryl has been Kadie’s Big Sister for eight months. Kadie is from Liberia, and learning about different Christmas traditions has been; this is her first introduction to Charlie brown.

Kadie’s family loves Big Brothers Big Sisters; in September, we introduced you to her brother, Karmah, who is also in the program.

Sheryl is studying elementary education at Bellarmine and helps Kadie out with school too. Although she’s soft-spoken, we found Kadie already loving her Louisville Christmas.

If you want to help a young person become a great adult, call Big Brothers Big Sisters right now. They are in their Louisville offices, by the phones, to help get you started. You will talk to a real, live person! Call 1-877-588-2300.

You can make a difference for the future.
