LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Murray State returned to the NCAA tournament after a two-year wait and beat Colorado State 58-41 in the opener of today's 16-game schedule. Isaiah Cannon had a team-high 15 points to help the sixth-seeded Racers improve to 31-1.
Top-seeded Kentucky also is on the today's slate in Lousville. The 32-2 Wildcats will take on 16-18 Western Kentucky this evening (6:50 p.m. Eastern). The Hilltoppers, who won a First Four game Tuesday night, are just the sixth team to win a game in the tournament with a losing record.
