LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Thanksgiving feast is different from family to family. Others go out to eat while others spend the week preparing the turkey and all the trimmings. We all have our own take on those thanksgiving classics.

WHAS11's Joe Arnold went out to find out how you prepare the stuffing, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie. Click on the video player above to see how others do Thanksgiving.

Dot Patterson’s Cranberry & Pineapple Jello

1 large Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 16 oz whole cranberry sauce (with whole cranberries)
2 tbs mayonnaise
2 tbs sugar
9 oz Cool Whip
16 oz crushed pineapple (drained)
1 large box strawberry Jello (use 1/2 water as called for on box)

Make strawberry Jello first in rectangular Pyrex dish, place in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, not firm but loose enough to add other ingredients

While Jello is in refrigerator, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and sugar.  Add cranberries, pineapple and Cool Whip.

Add this mixture to Jello and place back in refrigerator
