LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- TSA Representatives unveiled advanced imaging technology they'll be using to screen passengers starting next week.

Two new body scanners are going in at the airport. They are designed to safely screen passengers for both metallic and non-metallic threats. The new software also addresses privacy concerns some people had over the images being too revealing. Now, all the images look the same, and the system highlights areas of concern.

The machines will be up and running next week, although there could be some passengers who go through the new scanners as early as this weekend.
