LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A chance to win a brand new home and a brand new BMW costs just $100, and goes to support a great cause.
The Children's Hospital Foundation which supports Kosair Children's Hospital is raffling off a chance to win a brand new 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in Norton Commons.
This home is valued at about $300,000.
Only 8,000 raffle tickets will be sold at $100 apiece which will raise $800,000 to support services at Kosair Children's Hospital.
“We serve over 140,000 children, and anywhere from critical care, we have one of the 5th largest neonatal intensive care units in the country. If we don't have philanthropy to support it, we won't have a great children's hospital here in Kentucky and that is why we're here today,” Leslie Smart, system director of philanthropy for the Children’s Hospital Foundation to support Kosair Children’s Hospital, said.
In addition to the house they are also offering a 2013 Series One BMW with $10,000 in the trunk.
The winner for both of those prizes will be drawn on Nov. 17 at the Snowball Gala.
If you want to check out the house and buy a raffle ticket you can go to Norton Commons this Wednesday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday up to the Snowball Gala from noon to 6 p.m.
