Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The colors you wear can speak volumes. Men are apparently more attracted to a woman in red than, say, a woman in white, and women see red when they see other women in red.

These are some of the results of a new study. Researchers asked women to look at photos to speculate on characteristics of other women wearing different color clothing.

In one test, subjects rated the women in red as more sexually available than the woman in white.

In another test, women said they were less likely to allow their significant other to interact with a woman in red over a woman in green.

The take away: maybe color is more than meets the eye.
