SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A juvenile has been charged in Shelby County after a threat that caused the evacuation of Martha Layne Collins High School.
The juvenile was arrested on Monday night, May 6, and is charged with terroristic threatening.
Officials won't say if the suspect is a student at that high school who or why the threat was called in.
Officers are still investigating to determine whether more charges should be filed.
"If we feel like anybody else was involved to help facilitate that crime, we'd consider charging them as well," Maj. Jason Rice, with the Shelby Co. Sheriff’s office, said.
Nothing suspicious was ever found at the school.
