S. Ind. legislator says Hoosiers missed an opportunity with ACA

INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) -- Indiana Governor Mike Pence says the problems with the national rollout of the Affordable Care Act are, quote, "simply inexcusable" and the individual mandate should be delayed.

WHAS11 Political Editor Joe Arnold spoke with Pence and with another Indiana Republican who says his party has become a stumbling block for low-income Hoosiers seeking health coverage.

Indiana is surrounded by states that are expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. A Southern Indiana Republican legislator says the Hoosier state is missing out. WHAS11’s Joe Arnold has more, click on the video player above.
