LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The lottery winner with a million-dollar ticket bought in Prospect has come forward.
Twenty-three-year-old Alex Parker of Prospect said it is the first time he has purchased a ticket and he randomly picked the numbers.
Parker said he is just now claiming the prize because he wanted to talk to a financial adviser first, and he was studying for his law school admissions test.
Parker will take home $690,000 after taxes.
He said he plans to travel and invest most of the winnings.
