LEBANON, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Friday marks the fifth day of jury selection for David Camm's third murder trial. Eleven potential jurors were selected and, according to the judge, they will more than likely be on the jury.
Of the11 jurors, there are four men and 7 females. They are still looking for one more juror and seven alternates.
Jury selection will resume Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m.
Camm is accused of killing his wife and two kids back in 2000, nearly 13 years ago, and that's one of the questions the defense asked the potential jurors; if the length of when the murders happened would impact their ruling.
The goal is to find 12 impartial jurors and seven alternates.
The trial will start on Thursday, Aug. 22 with opening arguments.
We did learn some details about the trial - the defense and prosecution could each call around 50 witnesses. One of those witnesses will be Floyd County prosecutor Keith Henderson according to the defense.
