LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police have released new evidence in the case of a Seneca High School student who was murdered last year.

Trey Zwicker's body was found behind Liberty High School last May.

Police eventually arrested and charged Josh Gouker's son and Zwicker's stepbrother, Josh Young, for the homicide.

He is accused of beating Trey with a baseball bat near a creek behind the school.

“But why? Ok just from out here-- right here--  and I’m not even Josh. Why? Why would Josh do that to Trey? Why?,” said Gouker when police asked if Josh Young was involved.

Gouker later came clean, and told police Young killed Zwicker because he was jealous of him, and because he was afraid Zwicker would tell on him for vandalizing cars.
