LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is facing charges after police said he called 911 and told the dispatcher that he had a bomb.
Police said 33-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez told a dispatcher there was a bomb in his beer and he was going to blow it up. It happened at a Circle K on South Third Street not far from the Watterson Expressway.
Officers responding to the scene said he smelled strongly of alcohol and according to the police report he was intoxicated to the point he was a danger to himself.
Police said Rodriguez also threatened to blow something up while en route to corrections and again at Metro Corrections.
He's charged with terroristic threatening and alcohol intoxication.
